Ashley McBryde is easily one of the hardest working women in Nashville. The country music artist has been writing, performing and touring for years. So it’s only fitting that during Ashley’s appearance on CBS Mornings to promote her new album Ashley McBryde Presents: Lindeville, Garth Brooks virtually chimed in to invite her to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
“What’s happening?” McBryde asked as she showed up on the monitor. “This is part of a family that keeps growing…Miss Ashley McBryde, on behalf of the Opry and myself as an Opry member – I’m gonna try not to cry – we would love for you to consider becoming the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry.”
McBryde cried as she said, “It would be the great joy and honor of my life.”
