After months of intense negotiations, the music catalog of the late star has been sold to Warner Chappell.
The catalog, which dates from the 1960’s up until his death in 2016, includes such songs as “Let’s Dance,” “Rebel, Rebel,” “Changes,” and “Ziggy Stardust.”
While official reports of the financial agreement have yet to be released, sources confirm that the price could be upwards of $250 million.

Bowie’s estate announced a global partnership with Warner Music. His albums from 2000-2016 were released under Sony Music, and this deal now brings nearly all of his music into the Warner system.
