In true Doja Cat fashion, the artist posted a video from her hospital bed rapping a Nicki Minaj verse following her tonsil surgery.
Leave it to the rapper to refuse to let surgery slow her down.
The rapper announced last month that she was cancelling all of her 2022 live show dates due to the surgery.
Doja explained her health issues in a series of tweets last month. The Grammy Winner explained she was placed on antibiotics for a throat infection and that her conditioned worsened around the time of the Billboard Music Awards. The artist admits that she forgot to take her medication and spent the whole day drinking and vaping.
At that time, she said “Dr. just had to cut into my left tonsil. I had an abscess in it,” she wrote. “My whole throat is fucked so i might have some bad news for yall coming soon.”
